Good television - does it still exist?

An unusual blessing - or perhaps it's a curse - has come into our family. Melissa was given the first four seasons of Little House on the prairie. She has systematically watched all of the first three seasons, and is now working on the fourth. I have only seen a few episodes, but so far each one has been enjoyable, positive, and encouraging. I can't think of a current show that is any where near as wholesome. Lately I feel guilty when I watch prime-time shows because I know that I wouldn't approve of my own kids watching such garbage, and I fear that it gets worse every year. What ever happened to decent broadcast television?
