Yesterday was homecoming for Kansas State University. We invited all our close by family to join us for trick-or-treating in Aggieville, watching the parade, then dinner at our house. It was a great time, mostly because with the kids around everyone relaxes and just has a good time. Isaiah was dressed as a fireman, so the firemen in the parade thought that was cool. Annie was dressed as "Cheer Bear" with a fuzzy pink Carebear costume. That seemed to be popular with the college girls in the parade. Between Aggieville and the parade they got enough candy to stay on a sugar buzz for weeks.
We sent Isaiah home with Nana and Bobo for the evening, and he is to spend Saturday night with MeMe and G.G. That means we have nearly two full days with only Annie. Of course, since Annie has firmly entered her "terrible twos" we still get to listen to near constant fussing about something. These periods of annoying behavior are separated by moments of extreme cuteness.
