Waiting... but not too much longer!

After 9 months of pregnancy, we have spent the last few days waiting for labor to begin. The baby is not due for a few more days, but we have it in our minds that she will come early. Of course, this means that we are a bit more anxious than perhaps we should be, but it makes things more interesting.

As I write this Melissa is experiencing fairly light contractions about 7 minutes apart, so we called Betty to come. She will stay with Isaiah while we go to the hospital. Hopefully her trip will not be wasted! While I am excited for the events to come in the next several hours, it is interesting to take survey of the other things I am thinking about. While Melissa thinks about when to go the hospital, how far apart contractions are, and what needs to happen before she goes, I am thinking about how I need to take out the trash, gather the cameras, and decide where to post photos of the new baby on the Internet. I may change my mind, but for now I plan to use a photo album on Yahoo photos. It's not the best interface in the world, but I have had an account there for several years, so it is easiest. Here it is.

Things seem to be progressing. I need to go gather stuff so that we are ready to go as soon as Melissa decides it is time. I should have photos posted within a day of the birth. Enjoy!
